Mission Statement
This is an independent site, with no ties to any political or governing body; for the purpose of bringing to the Villages Residents, a platform for open and honest discussion; a venue to as much information as possible, and an opportunity to become active, in one of the finest communities of it’s type.
About Click & Link
Click & Link, have lived in The Villages since 2001 - 2002, enjoying the great activities pertaining to, the very unique lifestyle of "The Villages ".
Everyone knows that the Internet contains information on every subject. The problem is finding it, and sorting it.
That's what this Web Site is all about. Through our research, we have found most of the web sites relative to this lifestyle.
We have linked each of those, to one or more of our categories. If we weren't able to find a relevant web site, we created one.
What Made Us do it ?
One evening, during a dinner party, our children attempted a "put down". They suggested that Villager's, were somewhat inept ... at least when it came to all the new technology invading our lives, from cyberspace.
Click and Link, the most senior of the "Senior Citizens" at the table, decided to put up $100.00 on the premise, that within six months, they could develop an Information Center that would serve all the Villager's, "newbies" as well as "long timers."
Why would anyone in their right mind invest so much time and money, just to win $100.00?
What nobody was aware of, including Click, was that Link was teaching himself the latest communications technology. In the five months that followed, Link and Click worked night and day, and were then ready to present their gift to The Villagers.

Actually, we got to that point in less than six months. We then began asking you, to take a tour of this site. We think you will agree, you'll never have to pull out three phone books again, or fish through little piles of paper on the kitchen counter, just to find information.
It's Not Finished
We had no idea that our site would grow in popularity at such a fantastic rate (Over 5,000 pages Now indexed by Google 10-22-08). However we still need your help. Tell us where we missed, as well as where we hit.
Tell us what else you would like to see, on your site.
In the beginning, we found it difficult to describe "The Village's Life Style". We had friends and relatives, that couldn't believe we moved here, so we would send them the
"Lifestyle Video" from The Developer
(This is still a great present, for any one facing that retirement decision.)
Be sure to tell your friends about our site! This Website, is the next step in explaining what The Villages, is all about. To all the people that encouraged us, and shared their ideas
A Million Thanks.
Keep those ideas coming. This site is not done, and perhaps it never will be. However, there is a lot of hidden technology in this site, technology that other Village sites, did have the foresight to make a part of their base.
The $100.00 bet is only a small part of what we have gained for our efforts. We now have knowledge about lots of things here in the Villages, that we would never have known, had we not accepted this challenge.
